Sixty photographs taken on a school trip to Biskupin Open-air Museum. BiskupinBiskupin is an archaeological site and a life-size reconstruction of an Iron Age fortified settlement (gród) in Poland, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship. It is part of the Biskupin group of the Lusatian culture. The Museum is situated on a marshy peninsula in the Lake Biskupin, around 90 km northeast of Poznan, 8 km south of the small town of Żnin. Biskupin is part of the state archaeological museum in Warsaw. Every year a week long archaeological festival is held at Biskupin. The pictures in the above slideshow were taken during a Primary school trip to the Romans and Barbarians archaeology festival at Biskupin in September 2006. The school is the Szkoła Podstawowa in Skwierzyna, Lubusz, in the west of Poland.
